Okay everyone, I have decided to host a little contest. It will be one on one and one person can challenge the another, or I will pair up two people randomly.

If you are chosen by another person or I decide to pair you up, you may decline if proper reason is stated. However, the reason may not be something along the lines of "I just don't like this person," or "I don't think I can win."

If you are too busy or simply cannot be bothered, it is very understandable. There will be a list of people willing to participate up here soon. All contestants will then comment here stating who they are challenging. If anyone does not post stating who they are challenging, I will randomly pair them up and contact them through a message/note.

Please respond to this journal if you would like to participate. I would like this to be with only people I know (or Astor knows) however, since there is no other way the prizes can be awarded.

There will be 3 categories to this contest. Photography, Traditional, and Digital. These are non-negotiable, so if you are not strong in one area, there will be another to balance it out.

This brings us to how the winner will be judged. Comments, views, and favs of each piece will be taken into some consideration. When the contest ends, all participants will send me a note with their votes on who should win in each of the parings. If there is a dead tie, I will have the final say in who wins.

Please participate as the Thanksgiving holidays are coming around the corner and there will be a great deal more free time to draw and snap photos. Doesn't the prospect of one on one battles sound exciting? I certainly think so, and what use would a contest be without participants? Once again, Please participate.
